Hey everyone, here are the recent product updates this past week...
Auto Screenshots have been further improved to be MUCH more accurate/faster and it is now offered for no additional credit cost.
This was acheived by completely changing the approach to how AI was used to not only determine where in the blog to add screenshots, but also how to choose the timestamp in the video for the screenshot itself.
Previously, we were using AI to retroactively figure out where to add screenshots. Specifically, we would generate the blog (without screenshots) and then ask AI to go section by section and add a relevant screenshot (we would ask it to choose where in the video to add a screenshot and then we would take 20 screenshots around that time and ask the AI again to choose the best one).
This method worked okay, but it was often inaccurate and often had trouble with choosing the best image out of 20. Also, this method often forced adding screenshots in places where screenshots were not needed.
After some research, it was clear that adding screenshots should be part of the blog writing process itself (much like a human would do).
So, now, I have changed the approach for auto adding screenshots to be within the original blog generation prompt. While a lot finagling (some would call this prompt engineering) had to be done to get the desired results, this approach seems much more accurate, consistent, faster, and resulted in better placements of screenshots within the blog...and the best part is there is no additional AI (for now) so we can now offer this feature free for premium members.
The slight downside to this approach is that screenshots can only be added during blog generation so I have gotten rid of the button that allowed screenshots to be auto added after blog generation.
I will still continue to test and improved this feature so more changes/improvements are likely to come.
I have also added the ability to add multiple (you can specify the exact number) AI generated images throughout the blog on initial generation.
Previously, you could only add one AI generated image (as a featured image) on blog generation and/or manually add AI generated images throughout the blog after initial generation.
Now, you can just specify how many AI generated images you want in your blog and they will be generated as part of the original blog generation.
Also, I have added the ability to specify the style of the AI generated image (this feature has also been added when manually adding an AI generated image after blog generation).
Lastly, I have updated the point of views options to be more specific.
Previously, it was just First Person or Third Person.
Now, the options have been expanded and made more specific which, in turn, has made the AI better at understanding what point of view is desired for the written blog.
