  • A Quick Look at What’s Coming to Video To Blog in 2026

As we head into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to share where Video To Blog is going—and why I’m incredibly excited about what’s coming next.

Over the past year, I’ve learned a lot from how you actually use Video To Blog: what saves you time, what feels confusing, and where the output can be even better. Those learnings are directly shaping our priorities for the year ahead.

Below is a look at what’s changing, what’s improving, and what we’re doubling down on.

A Shift in Focus: Publishing Where YouWant

While we’ll continue to support Publications, we’ve learned that most users would rather export their content to their own platforms—WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, newsletters, and more.

Because of that, Publications will no longer be a primary focus going forward. It’s not going away, but we won’t be actively pushing or expanding it. Instead, we’re investing in making exports, integrations, and automations the best they can be.

Better Content Quality Is a Top Priority ✍️

Speed matters—but quality matters even more.

In 2026, a major focus will be improving the quality of the blog posts Video To Blog produces. This includes:

    • Better structure and flow

    • More natural, human-sounding writing

    • Smarter use of context from your videos

    • Continued improvements to formatting, screenshots, and supporting visuals

The goal is simple: posts that require less editing after generation and feel closer to something you’d proudly publish as-is.

Doubling Down on Integrations & Automation 🚀

This is another big area of investment.

We’ve already launched our WordPress plugin, and we’re actively working toward Make, n8n, and Zapier integrations.

Our long-term vision is to make it possible to go from video → high-quality blog post → published or distributed automatically, with minimal manual work.

Expect more triggers, actions, and flexibility as we expand our automation capabilities.

    A Cleaner, More Intuitive Interface

As features have grown, the interface has grown more complex—and we know it.

    In 2026, you’ll see:

    • A cleaner, more approachable UI

    • Fewer toggles and upfront decisions

    • Smarter defaults that “just work”

    • A smoother experience for both new and power users

This is one of our highest-priority improvements.

New AI Image Engine: Nano Banana 🍌

We’ve also made a recent upgrade that’s live now.

Video To Blog is now using Nano Banana for AI image generation, bringing:

    • Higher-quality images

    • More consistent outputs

    • Faster generation times

Nothing changes for you—your images just get better.

    Looking Ahead

    This is just the start.

There are many more improvements planned for 2026, all centered around one core idea:

Create higher-quality written content from video—and get it where it needs to go with as little friction as possible.

Thank you for being part of Video To Blog, for sharing feedback, and for helping shape the product. I’m incredibly excited about what’s ahead.
